WHO WE ARE

Peak Velocity Performance is a high-performance baseball training facility located in Flowood, Mississippi. We utilize a scientific approach and in-depth knowledge of strength training to develop our players.

Our facility is designed to be a state-of-the-art training environment for our athletes to reach their goals. Our coaches are highly qualified and experienced. We utilize some of the best technology in the industry, like Trackman, Uplift, and Edgertronic software, to leave no stone unturned in our pursuit of developing our athletes.

Justin Simanek, CSCS

Owner/ Director of Player Development

Justin originates from Seattle, Washington. He started his playing career in Washington at TCC and finished at Southeastern Louisiana University. Following Justin served as the Director of Pitching Development at P360 Pearl, where he started the P360 Ace Pitching Program. After A couple of years of working there, he started Peak Velocity Performance. Since he opened doors, he has trained players from youth to the professional ranks.

Landon Tomkins

Landon is from Brandon, Mississippi. He played junior college baseball at Hinds Community College from 2018 to 2020. From there he went to Louisiana Tech University from 2020 to 2023

while he was there he would help run pitching camps for the local kids during the summer time. During his time at Louisiana Tech Landon was a huge part of the bullpen mainly in the closer role. Aiding the team into a Regional Host in 2021 and another regional appearance in 2022. In his last year at Louisiana Tech he was drafted by the Pittsburgh Pirates in the 10th round in 2023. Since then he as spent 3 years with the Pirates and is now in double A with them.

Preston originated from Crystal Springs, Mississippi. He graduated from Copiah Academy in 2018. He started his career at Hinds Community College and continued at Mississippi State University where he won a National Championship in 2021. He was drafted in the 7th round by the Baltimore Orioles and has played for them the past three years.

KK Clark

KK is from Brandon Ms. He started off playing at Mississippi State University. Then sophomore year transferred to Pearl River community college. After his sophomore year he was drafted to the Baltimore Orioles which is where he is active now.
